Greetings,

I fell in love with Beaucerons the moment I brought home my first girl, Zada, in 2018—and from that day forward, I knew I would always be owned by one. My original goal wasn’t to become a breeder; I simply wanted the perfect companion for our growing family. That goal quickly evolved as Zada and I discovered new dog sports together, and I realized how deeply rewarding it is to build a partnership based on trust, communication, and mutual respect.

We dove headfirst into IGP, and by the time Zada was two, we had earned our first BH. Soon after, we shifted our focus to scent work, where she excelled—earning High in Trial Novice at her very first competition. Today, I’m enjoying dock diving with Nova, and I plan to start herding this fall.

The idea of breeding came after I connected with Casey from Royale Beaucerons. With her guidance, I whelped and raised my first litter with Zada. That experience deepened my passion for the Beauceron and inspired me to help preserve the breed’s working spirit and temperament for future generations. My Beaucerons are not just athletes—they are cherished family members and partners in everyday life.

Today, that passion drives my work as a breeder and as Secretary of the Working Beauceron Association (WBA), an organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the Beauceron as a versatile working dog. Through the WBA, I support education, events, and programs that highlight the breed’s abilities while connecting enthusiasts and breeders across the country.

At Feu de l’Âme Beaucerons, my mission is to raise dogs who embody the strength, intelligence, and loyalty of the breed, while nurturing the bond that makes them beloved family members.

the Program

Our primary goal is to promote the Beauceron breed through responsible breeding practices. We aim to produce Beaucerons with a fire in their soul and a strong working spirit. Each breeding decision is made with the utmost care, focusing on the overall quality of the dogs, including health, temperament, and structure.

The first thing we do is to select parents that are each quality representations of the breed themselves, ensuring they complement each other. This careful pairing increases the likelihood of producing healthy and well-rounded puppies. It’s crucial to prioritize not just the physical attributes, but also behavioral traits that are fundamental to the breed’s purpose and character.

Once the puppies are here we are committed to ensuring that our dogs receive proper socialization and training from an early age by following the Puppy Culture protocol. This is vital not only for their development, but also to help set them up for a successful life. Our kennel prioritizes the welfare of each dog, providing a nurturing environment that allows them to thrive, and exposing them to as many new experience as possible.

We don’t stop with our puppies. Another key objective is to educate potential Beauceron owners about the breed, emphasizing the importance of responsible pet ownership. We believe that informed owners lead to happier dogs and stronger bonds, which benefits both parties.

Lastly, we strive to contribute positively to the Beauceron community by participating in events, dog shows, and breed clubs. Through these efforts, we hope to increase awareness and appreciation for this remarkable breed while fostering relationships with fellow enthusiasts.

In summary, our kennel’s goals center around ethical breeding, responsible ownership, and community engagement, all rooted in a profound respect for the Beauceron breed.
